UNDERSTANDING BLACK AMERICA BOOK EXCERPTS Constructive criticism is a must to be the best at anything, but no, not blacks. Constructive criticism doesn’t mean you don’t love someone; in most cases it means just the opposite. Politely criticizing one means you do care enough to face displeasure, otherwise a responsible person who would feel not to, would hurt that individual’s future much more down the road.
A responsible person is not afraid to criticize himself or his people. “To err is human.” In the past years during the strong black family era, blacks were not afraid to criticize themselves. In fact, we were harder on ourselves in most cases than the white man, and we felt a special pride and closeness when we would meet another black among whites. Now, that closeness is gone.
It’s like meeting another stranger in the crowd. Our black leaders act like it is some kind of crime to criticize one’s own in public. I read black newspapers and listen to black leaders, and all I hear is excuse after excuse; constructive criticism seems to be something foreign.
Five generations ago you could not find a black man that would leave his woman and children because he knew he was needed for their survival, but now after five generations he knows the government will take care of her. I may get into trouble for saying this, but a woman’s sex and charm are bargain chips in her survival makeup.
Men need women to spread their seed and enjoy the pleasures of sex, but before the social programs, most men had to clean up their act and get married before women would give up their bargaining chips. The bottom line is, without all of the social programs there is no way women would be giving out all of this unobligated sex.
Young men of today are no different than they were two thousand years ago, young men have always tried to get sex from whomever would give it up. Before the social programs destroyed the black nuclear family system, the girl’s mom and dad had to take care of their daughter’s baby Now with free birth control pills, free condoms, unrestricted abortions and big government footing the bill there is no harsh penalty for giving up unobligated sex.
In fact, except for catching a venereal diseases it is more of a reward than punishment for young girls to give it up. There is not much of a social stigma left and even some social groups sound like they expect young girls to give it up. Men must have a survival need for women, and women must have a survival need for men, otherwise self-interest may become more important than the opposite sex.
Blacks say they have racial pride. Then the first chance they get, they will move into a white or integrated neighborhood. If asked about it, they will tell you that the blacks’ neighborhoods are all bad and that crime and drugs are rampant. Sure, everyone wants his family to live in safety, but I don’t buy that as the only reason.
I think they are seeking a white identity because they could establish upper- and middle-class black neighborhoods with hardly any crime or drugs. That is what every race does except blacks. Besides, blacks were running to white neighborhoods long before crime and drugs became a big problem in the black community. I believe it was that movie A Raising in the Sun that showed that.
Why do so many blacks kill each other. I don’t think it’s any one reason, but several different reasons. Take someone who doesn’t own anything and has a dependent mentality. That is, someone who doesn’t have anything to lose except his freedom to go and come as he pleases.
Then you couple that with never having a male role model in the home to instill any real self-restraint, self-discipline or respect for authority; this is the profile of an individual with nothing to lose and no restraint to speak of. Someone like that is probably easily angered and not likely to hesitate in taking the law into his own hands and getting his own sense of justice on the spot.
The only way this is going to be reversed is by getting a strong male back into the household, and by eliminating social programs that drive the males away from the family. The real threat from the social programs is not what they cost. Why are so many black men in prison? Now for the structural details on the breakdown of the black family structure.
Back when the social programs first started, the first rule was that no man could live with his family if it received aid. That rule drove a great many black men away from their families. That rule created a situation that has left women at the head of well over half of all black family households, with social and welfare programs being the real provider, and with the female recipient being an unsupervised dependent.
This setup doesn’t allow young black men to develop a real respect for authority which is needed to instill self-restraint and self-discipline. Sure, some women can be tough and instill a respect for authority in young men, but very, very few. To sum it up, the bottom line is: The reason so many blacks are in prison is because of a weak survival instinct due to very little self-restraint, self-discipline, and respect for authority, and because there is no genuine male role model in the home to instill these values.
(The below is not book excerpts, Just advertising views.) A strong survival instinct would let young black males know that it is extra, extra hard for them to stay out of trouble taking the straight and narrow legal route, but next to impossible to stay out of the local, state, or federal prison system if they stray from the straight and narrow legal path.
America offers far more freedom and opportunity than anywhere in the world. Here, blacks and people of all races can still become rich and famous if they are willing to work hard and make great sacrifices. Lets not forget that the vast majority of young blacks males are well behaved, studying hard, and staying out of trouble.
Knowing the system was stacked against them, in the distance past blacks with strong survival instincts achieved more and owned more under far harsher conditions, and stayed out of prison.
