TO MENTALLY COMBAT BEING OVERWEIGHT BY WRITER FREDDIE L SIRMANS SR.
I, Freddie L Sirmans Sr. decided to share a technique that have helped me in my struggle of being overweight. My problem is I tend to be a compulsive overeater, which is a great mentally barrier to over come.
But, I am totally convinced that the positive thinking technique can and will mentally change human behavior. How the positive thinking technique works: One takes any short positive phrase or quote and repeats it over and over to ones self, or develops one to ones own liking.
However, the positive thinking quote one chooses it must be repeated over and over to ones self at least 50 or more times every day, plus the more it is repeated the faster it works.
It takes very little time to physical use ones fingers to count the quote 25 times in the morning and get in 25 or more before bedtime. Physical counting on the fingers are not necessary, but it do tends to force the issue.
Here is my quote I'm sharing with you: "I NEED TO KEEP MY BODY SLIM AND HEALTHY THROUGH GOD WHICH STRENGTHENS ME" (One can leave off the God part or substitute ones own deity if so desired).
The positive thinking technique may not work over night, in fact it can take up to six months or longer to fully kick in. But, if ones stay the course it definitely will change behavior.
