A SECOND CHANCE TO LIVE II" BOOK EXCERPTS
I used to laugh at the old joke about a fellow who was caught in the act of cheating
on his wife. The first thing he said was, “Honey, who are you going to believe, me
or your lying eyes?” Well, I never thought I would see the day, but more and more
I see the liberals using that technique effectively. Someone once said something to
this effect, “You can’t have a democracy with illiterate or uninformed people.” I
totally agree.
After over forty years of welfare and social spending it has produced scores of
dependent-minded people with socialist mentalities. Out of many different
examples, I will give you just one. The idea that a tax cut has to be paid for. To me,
that is absurd. They won’t admit it, but that is hard-core socialist and communist
thinking. Whoever heard of paying to have a little bit of your own money given
back to you, yet far too many people are agreeing with that.
It is unbelievable just how bold the liberals have become. They tell you that you
don’t deserve or want a tax cut. There is so much misinformation out there that
only a person that truly believes in the freedom of the individual and private
enterprise can navigate through it. Otherwise, why not take the course of least
resistance and let the super sugar daddy government provider take care of us all
from cradle to grave.
The only thing wrong with that is the nuclear family is forever, but every
government comes and goes sooner or later. The fact is when our currency
becomes worthless from out-of-control spending, this super provider government
won’t be able to help the elderly or anybody. With a worthless currency, and the
nuclear family in shambles, there won’t be a foundation to maintain order and
rebuild upon.
The fact is, it is never too late to prepare by rebuilding the nuclear family. In order
to rebuild the nuclear family there must be a survival need for it, but that can’t
happen as long as the government is a social and family provider. When speaking
of our currency becoming worthless, it’s not a matter of it happening, it’s going to
happen.
It is impossible for it not to happen, because big government has shut off most of
the small purges and safety valves in the economy that would have caused much
pain, but saved the overall economy. Shutting off purges and safety valves is done
by the government moving further and further away from a truly free marketplace.
That is why I think the government should stay with the things it does best, like
national defense, collecting taxes, and taking care of the infrastructure.
It should stay out of the marketplace and the social arena as much as possible.
Look at what it has done to the medical profession. You have people scapegoating
the insurance companies and HMOs, but the root cause is the high cost of medical
care. This was brought on by the government becoming involved and destroying the
medical free marketplace.
Attacking the insurance companies and hmo’s will eventually drive them out of
business, then who do you think will pay the high cost of medical care? Sure, the
liberals want a one-payer socialist system, but then after a few years, we’ll have
witch-doctor-level medical care. So I plead to all sane men and women of common
sense and sound judgment, let’s do what probably has never been done before,
reverse a society that is in a complete value and moral decline.
All that is necessary to save this great nation is to wean the government out of its
social and family provider role, then there will be a survival need for the nuclear
family, the extended family, and for one another.
